Leading worship is more than following the rubrics (directions in red print in the hymnal) and guidelines. The leader’s preparation, body movements and words help communicate the gospel’s message as well the importance of the assembly’s involvement in the worship event. This class will allow leaders of the Christian assembly to reflect on how they lead worship and discern ways in which their leadership can facilitate their community’s involvement in both hearing and proclaiming God's word in worship. This class is not just for Licensed Ministers, but for all who are leaders of worship in the Christian assembly.
