Lenten Soup Suppers
 Each Wednesday from 5-7pm we will be serving soup, bread, and dessert in the Fellowship Hall. There are sign up sheets if you would like to bring something, but you don’t have to bring food to attend! Just show up and enjoy the food and good company. Hope to see you there!
First Communion
 Training sessions for First Communicants (5th grade and older) will take place on March 14 and March 21, from 9:30 to 11:30 am in the Fellowship Hall. First Communion will be on March 28th during the 10:30 am service. Please RSVP by March 2nd to the church office at 586-752-4588. More information will be mailed to you. Read the Bible in a Year
 Have you ever read the Bible from beginning to end? Maybe now is the time! St. John will be giving out "The One Year Bible" on the first weekend of the month for the next 12 months. If you've never read the bible, or just want to reread it, now is the time. Sign up on the board in the Gathering Area and your bible will come to you. We will also be starting a discussion blog on the website for your questions so stay tuned!
Thursday Night Bible Study
 All adults are invited to join our Bible Study Group as we explore God’s Word. We normally meet on Thursdays, 6:30-8:00 pm, but not every Thursday so look for a Study schedule (very important), a study guide, and reading assignments on the table in the Gathering Area. Following that study we will look at the Parables of Jesus. The more we know the more different we become!
Basketball is back!
 Open basketball has started again in the Fellowship Hall here at St. John. Come join the fun of basketball every Thursday night from 6:00-8:30pm. All ages and all skill levels are welcome, everyone is invited! For more information call Scott Hudson at 586-623-9070.

Canned food drive for Samaritan House
 Please bring a can a week for our annual food drive to benefit Samaritan House. Thanks for your help!
Tuesday Night Euchre
 The next Tuesday Night Euchre event sponsored by the St. John Men’s Club will take place on March 9th. Euchre nights take place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month (off during summer months). Registration is at 6:00pm and we start playing at 6:30pm. A $10 fee includes snacks. We have an average of 24 players per night and have space for 24 more. Come join the fun!
