Softball

2010 Inter-church Co-ed Softball League starts May 20.  13+ can play.  Fields are assigned by Romeo Parks& Rec.  Memorial Field is on Morton Street north of 32 Mile in Romeo, MI.  Lions Field is in Romeo same place as the Peach Festival - southeast of downtown.

St. John participates in a summer softball church league. It is co-ed league for ages 13 and up. Games are played on Thursday nights for 10 weeks starting on the 3rd Thursday in May. We play against other church teams from the area of Almont, Armada and Washington. This league has been in existence for at least 20 years. Our 2009 team has over 20 players participate and we won 7 of our 8 games. Please join us in 2010.

Golf

The St. John Golf League plays at Heather Hills on Monday nights from April until September each summer.  This is a 2 man team league of about 20 teams.  Contact Gary Frappier at 586-752-4182 for more information.

Basketball

Beginning in Septermber open basketball is scheduled for every Thursday night in the Fellowship Hall from 6:30 PM until 9:30 PM.  Come join the fun.  All ages and talents are welcome!  Pastor Mark Evans is a regular and always willing to accept a challenge.  Call PM for an appointment.  For more information about open basketball call Scott Hudson (586) 786-1696.

There are basketball hoops in the Fellowship Hall available for use at any time you can schedule an activitiy.  Call the church office for details.
